Neuro Interventional Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our esteemed team. As a Neuro Interventional Rad Tech, you will play a critical role in providing advanced imaging support for neurointerventional procedures. + Exercises quality control for imaging procedures and maintains the prescribed standards of quality.

+ Ensures the proper transfer of images online including correctd labeling of procedures.

+ Assumes the role of an preceptor for technologists, students and ancillary personnel on routine or specific procedures.

+ Works as a member of the team, providing assistance such as transport and cleaning of exam rooms between procedures

+ Accurately documents procedure and charges for supplies.

+ Accurately performs and documents hemodynamic monitoring.

+ Performs interventional radiology procedures and neuro-interventional procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.

+ Performs other duties as necessary.


Qualifications


+ Minimum of two (2) years experience as neuro-interventional radiologic technologist in an acute care hospital.

+ Extensive knowledge of all department protocols and procedures.

+ Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the patient population.

+ Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

+ CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required.

+ ARRT certification required.

+ BLS certification required.

+ ACLS certification required.


This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and covered under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
