Job Opportunity: Neuro-Oncologist Faculty

Key Responsibilities
- Join a growing neurosciences service line with opportunities to practice within our expanding clinical network.
- Work at multiple locations, including Hyde Park, which features our new standalone Cancer Hospital, as well as outpatient care facilities in Northwest Indiana, the southern suburbs of Chicago, and downtown Chicago.
- Engage in clinical duties that encompass both outpatient clinics and inpatient services.
- Participate actively in educational and research initiatives, including mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on brain tumor therapies, including specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology.
- Leverage institutional expertise in oncology drug development, clinical pharmacology, immunology, and pharmacogenomics.
- Contribute to research activities, including clinical trials, utilizing the resources available within the Department of Neurology and the UChicago Cancer Center.
Qualifications
- Possess a medical doctorate or equivalent degree.
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
- Have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in neurology.
- Be board certified or board eligible in neurology.
- Have completed a neuro-oncology fellowship and be eligible or certified by UCNS in neuro-oncology.
