Job Description

Overview

This position is full time, days. The shift is 3-12's, from 7am-7:30pm, at Riley Hospital for Children. Schedule TBD.

New Hire Bonus available for those who qualify!

Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings according to departmental guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge/understanding of typical neurophysiological patterns. Works with a moderate degree of supervision when recording and monitoring patient data. Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary. Maintains quality recordings and skilled in troubleshooting techniques.

  • High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Student or graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
  • Required to be on an eligible pathway for R.EEG T. or EP credentialing, as recognized by ABRET, at the time of hire.
  • Required to obtain R.EEG T. or EP credential within 24 months of hire based on department requirements.
  • Requires current BLS certification.
  • May require ability to meet all EEG competencies based on department requirements.
  • Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing.
