Required Skills:
  • Board Certified in Neurosurgery or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
  • Current, active medical license or IMLC license in good standing
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Experience with complex spine cases
  • FLURO certification (or temporary certification allowed)
  • Proficiency in managing both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical cases
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Additional certifications in airway management (not mandatory)
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare settings
  • Prior experience in high-volume or trauma centers
  • Familiarity with surgical case documentation and case log submission

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified neurosurgeon with current hospital privilege experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based neurosurgical practice, including complex spine procedures

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on November 1, 2026
  • Willingness to participate in a mix of clinic and call duties, including weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend call coverage from November 21, 2026, to January 5, 2027
  • All credentialing documents, including CV, hospital affiliations, and case logs, must be submitted promptly to ensure timely privilege approval
  • Ability to perform at least 100 cases within the past 24 months related to requested privileges
