Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with specialized training in neurological surgery
- Valid medical license in the relevant state or jurisdiction
- Proven experience in complex brain and spine surgeries
- Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and surgical techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stakes situations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients
Nice to Have Skills:
- Fellowship training in neurosurgery or a subspecialty area
- Research experience or published work in neurological surgery
- Familiarity with minimally invasive surgical procedures
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board certification in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery or equivalent authority
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency surgical experience in a hospital or academic setting
- Experience with advanced neuroimaging and intraoperative navigation systems
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Ability to travel, if required, to various hospital locations or conferences
- Certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and relevant emergency protocols
