Neurologist (MD/DO) – Part-Time or Full-Time Bronx, New York Part-Time or Full-Time
Position Overview
A large multispecialty group in New York City is actively seeking a Neurologist to provide high-quality, patient-centered neurological care in an outpatient setting in the Bronx. This opportunity offers flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules and is ideal for physicians interested in managing a wide range of neurological conditions while working within a collaborative, well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Evaluation
Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including headaches, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, and movement disorders
Perform comprehensive neurological exams and develop individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans
Clinical Management
Prescribe and manage medications and therapies for both acute and chronic neurological conditions
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Provide follow-up care and continuity for long-term neurological conditions
Care Coordination & Collaboration
Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
Coordinate referrals for advanced care, imaging, and rehabilitation services
Patient Education
Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and disease management
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Active or eligible for New York State medical license
Experience in outpatient neurology preferred (new graduates may be considered)
Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Salary: Commensurate with experience (prorated for part-time)
