Description:

Neurologist – Mild to Moderate TBI Care 

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Full time : M-F, 8a-5p

 

Position Overview 

Part‑time Neurologist role focused on mild to moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI), chronic headaches, and post‑concussion symptoms. No surgery, no complex head trauma, no call, and no weekends. Providers rotate between regional clinics with mileage reimbursement.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Evaluate and treat mild to moderate closed‑head injuries and post‑traumatic headaches

• Utilize in‑house computerized neurocognitive testing (ImPACT)

• Collaborate with vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy teams

• Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor‑vehicle–related injuries

• Support return‑to‑work planning

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Provide timely, accurate documentation and reports

• Offer testimony when required for personal injury cases

 

Schedule and Structure 

• Approx. 16 hours per week

• 1–2 days per week

• No weekends

• No call

• Providers rotate between clinics

• Mileage reimbursed

Minimum Requirements 

• MD/DO from an accredited institution

• Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

• Board Certification in Neurology

• Favorable malpractice history

• BLS/ACLS certification

• DEA license

 

Preferred Skills and Competencies 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to mentor and supervise staff

• Excellent documentation and organizational skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic and treatment protocols for neurological injuries

• Customer‑service orientation and patient‑centered approach
