Neurologist Veterinarian – Springfield, OR
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join its collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. This opportunity offers the chance to provide advanced neurological care in a modern facility equipped with advanced diagnostic technology while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in companion animal patients
Perform neurological examinations and advanced diagnostic procedures
Develop and manage treatment plans for neurological disorders and related conditions
Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to support patient care
Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to ensure comprehensive treatment
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (ACVIM or equivalent)
Active or eligible veterinary license
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Interest in leadership or service development is a plus
