A respected integrated healthcare system in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurologist to join a growing outpatient neurology program focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, manageable patient volume, and the ability to make a meaningful impact while maintaining excellent work-life balance.

Position Highlights
  • Outpatient-only Neurology practice
  • MondayFriday schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • No call responsibilities
  • No weekends or holidays
  • Average patient volume: 510 patients per day
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment

Compensation & Benefits
  • $325,000 Base salary
  • Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) up to $200,000

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including:
    • Migraines
    • Seizure disorders
    • Neuropathy
    • Neurovascular conditions
    • Chronic neurological illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing including:
    • EEG
    • EMG/NCS
    • Imaging and laboratory studies
  • Provide patient education and medication management
  • Perform neurological procedures as credentialed, including:
    • Botox injections
    • Lumbar punctures
    • EMG/NCS
    • EEG interpretation
  • Collaborate closely with internal medicine, pain management, behavioral health, and rehabilitation teams
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinic optimization initiatives

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Eligible for DEA registration
  • Strong communication and patient-centered care skills

Preferred Experience
  • 3+ years of independent Neurology practice experience
  • Experience with Botox or chemodenervation procedures
  • EMG/NCS or EEG interpretation experience
  • Experience evaluating or treating TBI and chronic neurological disorders
