Outpatient Neurologist - Multiple Sclerosis Focus
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Neurologists with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis to join a busy outpatient practice in Paducah, Kentucky. There are no call and no weekend requirements.
Core Clinical Skills & Expertise
- Diagnosis and comprehensive management of multiple sclerosis and related demyelinating disorders
- Expertise in disease-modifying therapies, including initiation, monitoring, and escalation of treatment
- Interpretation of neuroimaging (MRI brain and spine) in MS diagnosis and disease surveillance
- Management of MS-related symptoms (spasticity, fatigue, cognitive changes, bladder dysfunction, etc.)
- Monitoring for treatment-related adverse effects and long-term disease progression
- Coordination of infusion therapies and collaboration with nursing and pharmacy teams
- Patient education focused on disease course, treatment options, and quality-of-life optimization
- Participation in multidisciplinary MS care models and clinical pathways
