Neurology Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

We are looking for:Neurology Clinical Supervisor  

In Neurology you can expect to behandle a variety of cases and run CT or MRI scans, as well as be involved in advanced neurological treatments and procedures. The skills needed for this department rely heavily on being a team player, compassionate and have a focus on excellent patient care.

What you’ll do:

• Escalates issues to Clinical Manager 

• Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s) 

• Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs 

• Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift 

• Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:  

• Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members 

• Assigns team member responsibilities per shift 

• Addresses process or employee issues during their shift 

• Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely 

• Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations 

• Trains and mentors new team members 

• Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations 

• Participates in on-call responsibilities 

• Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely

Who you are:

• Prior veterinary experience , previousneurology experience desired

• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)

• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
