Outpatient Neurologist Neuromuscular Focus
Core Clinical Skills & Expertise
- Diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders, including:
- Peripheral neuropathies
- Myopathies
- Motor neuron diseases
- Neuromuscular junction disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis)
- Proficiency in EMG and nerve conduction studies
- Long-term disease management, including immunotherapy and infusion-based treatments
- Multidisciplinary coordination with PT/OT, pulmonology, rheumatology, and rehabilitation services
- Management of functional decline, mobility issues, and chronic neuromuscular symptoms
- Patient-centered counseling regarding disease progression and supportive care planning
