Description Specialization: Neurology Neuromuscular Medicine Job Summary: The neuroscience group at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, a Comprehensive Stroke and Level I Trauma Center in Nashville, is seeking a neuromuscular specialist with a desire to provide high quality care and teach residents in our Neurology GME program. Qualified Candidates: Board certified neurology and board eligible/certified in neuromuscular medicine Fellowship trained in neuromuscular Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain DEA with full prescriptive authority Strong commitment to teaching, office consultation, and EMG Interest in outreach to develop 100 percent neuromuscular/EMG practice Option for 1:6 or 1:12 hospital weeks (including some night call) Option for APD position if qualified and interested (40 GME hours per month) Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including 401k and paid malpractice CME and dues allowance Relocation assistance Stipend eligibility for residents/fellows No State income tax About TriStar Skyline Medical Center: 286-bed hospital Dedicated 17-bed neuro ICU, 34-beds stroke; 4-bed EMU EEG and EMG on site Tennessee's first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience As an ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency care with over 3,700 ED visits per month.
