Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Our Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Neuropsychologist to join our Operation Mend Program. Operation Mend is part of the Warrior Care Network, a nationally recognized, unique program that provides specialized surgical and psychological care for veterans, service members, and their caregivers. Primary duties include:

  • Conduct neuropsychological and psychological evaluations
  • Write reports regarding test findings
  • Make behavioral and functional recommendations based on test results
  • Provide feedback to patients and their families regarding assessment results
  • Provide manualized cognitive training to veterans and caregivers
  • Supervise neuropsychology trainees, in collaboration with other team neuropsychologists

Salary range: $63.75/hr - $84.08/hr

Job Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology

Valid California Psychologist License

Minimum 2 years of postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology

Skills in developing rapport with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds

Experience working successfully in a team environment

Ability to work closely with other members of the clinical and research teams
