Job Summary:
HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their esteemed neurosurgery team within a well-established program.
Qualified Candidates:
Be part of a skilled neuroscience team that includes 4 neurosurgeons, 4 advanced practice providers (APPs), 2 neurointerventionalists, and 2 neurohospitalists.
Open to both experienced providers and new graduates.
Hospital Duties:
Manage a busy neurosurgery service.
Participate in 3 operative days per week, with a mix of 20% cranial and 80% spine cases.
Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures.
Outpatient Clinic:
Engage in 2 days per week of outpatient clinic work.
Shared call responsibilities.
Enjoy a high level of autonomy and the chance to work on a wide range of neurosurgical cases and procedures.
Contribute to a large multidisciplinary team in a comprehensive stroke center and Level 1 trauma center, supported by an excellent neuro-ICU, neuro-step down unit, and neuro floor.
Experienced required.
