What You’ll Do- Join daily inpatient rounds with residents to review the plan of care
- Evaluate patients who need to be seen and provide timely clinical assessments
- Review, place, and manage inpatient orders as part of ongoing care coordination
- Manage ongoing patient needs after rounds, including follow-ups and order updates
- Support discharge workflows by preparing and updating plans as patients progress
- Provide patient care only (no OR participation); residents assist in the OR
- Contribute to an organized inpatient neurosurgery team workflow in a hospital setting
What You NeedRequired- Board Certification in Neurosurgery (BC): Required
- MA State License: Required
- Neurosurgery experience:At least 1 year minimum
- Ability to complete credentialing in the expected timeframe (up to 90 days)
Preferred- Experience with removing drains such as hemovac / JP drains
About the Assignment
This is an inpatient neurosurgery role in a hospital setting caring for adult patients. You’ll work patient-care only alongside a structured resident program that supports OR needs, while your focus stays on rounding, assessments, orders, and inpatient management.
