Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in inpatient and acute care settings, performing procedures such as diagnostic/therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drains, lumbar punctures, ICP monitor placement, and complex wound management. This role involves providing specialized care for adult patients in a fast-paced environment, supporting a team of physicians and healthcare professionals.
Schedule & Shift Details:
- 10-hour shifts (7 AM - 5 PM) or 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
- One weeknight call and one weekend day per call week
- Typically, 12 MDs in clinic per day with 1 NP present Monday through Friday
- Additional APP present 12 times per week
- Patient schedule from 9 AM to 3:30 PM
- Rounds required prior to clinic hours
Support Staff:
- 6 MDs
- 1 RN
- 4 Medical Assistants

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery (BC Neurosurgery)
- Active SC State License
- Clean background
- Credentialing/privileging time: 60-90 days
- No licensing or IMLC acceptance required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $143.38
