What Youll Do
- Participate in inpatient neurosurgery rounds alongside residents
- Review patient plans, assess "need-to-see" cases, and update orders
- Manage discharge processes
- Remove drains such as Hemovac or JP drains (preferred skill)
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting
- Document patient care in Epic EMR system
- Support the neurosurgical team by providing patient care only (no OR duties)
What You Need
- Required:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- MA State License in good standing
- At least 1 year of neuro experience
- Ability to remove drains (preferred)
- Preferred:
- Experience with inpatient neurosurgery patients
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
