What You’ll Do
  • Work collaboratively with residents, providing inpatient neurosurgery care.
  • Review patient plans, see patients requiring assessment, and manage orders and discharges.
  • Conduct rounding, patient evaluations, and post-discharge follow-ups.
  • Perform procedures such as drain removal (hemovac/JP drains) as needed.
  • Ensure quality patient care within a hospital environment using Epic EMR.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Provide patient-centered care to adult neurosurgery patients.
What You Need
Required:
  • Massachusetts state license
  • Board Certification in Neurosurgery (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year neuro-related experience
  • Ability to remove drains (hemovac/JP drains)

Preferred:
  • Experience working in inpatient neurosurgical settings
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
