The team operates in a collaborative, inclusive, and globally distributed environment, partnering across design, product, test, process, manufacturing, and quality organizations to deliver industry-leading DRAM technologies.The Design Validation Product Engineer supports validation of new DRAM products through silicon bring-up, characterization, and debug. The role focuses on understanding real-silicon behavior through data analysis, laboratory measurements, and collaboration with multi-functional engineering teams. This position also applies modern data analysis approaches, including AI-Assisted and AI-Enabled methodologies, to improve validation efficiency and insight generation.Responsibilities Support DRAM design validation activities, including silicon bring-up, characterization, and validation testing for new memory productsAnalyze electrical and functional data to identify trends, marginalities, and potential failure mechanismsAssist with debug of validation issues using simulation results, test data, and laboratory measurementsUse engineering lab equipment and testers to characterize device behavior and performanceDocument validation results, test coverage, and observed behaviors while collaborating with multi-functional teamsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldStrong fundamentals in digital logic, circuit analysis, and semiconductor device conceptsExperience with data analysis, problem solving, and clear communication of technical findingsProgramming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar)Basic experience applying AI-Assisted data analysis or AI-Enabled workflows to support engineering problem-solving and data interpretationAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Exposure to semiconductor memory technologies (DRAM, SRAM, or NAND) through coursework, projects, or internshipsFamiliarity with simulation or CAD tools from academic or project experienceBasic knowledge of statistics or data visualization techniquesInternship, co-op, or research experience in hardware, validation, or test engineeringExposure to leveraging AI techniques for data analysis, modeling, or automation in engineering environmentsMicron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
