New Construction Sales Representative

Louisville, KY (In-Office)

Compensation: Base + Commission (uncapped earning potential)

About the Role

This is not your typical sales role.

We're looking for someone who can build relationships, think through details, and learn quickly. You don't need to come from the door and window industry — but you do need to be someone who is naturally curious, comfortable talking to people, and motivated to win new business.

In this role, you'll work with builders and contractors, helping them select and order the right products for their projects. You'll spend time both building relationships (in person, on the phone, and in the field) and working through project details at your desk.

What You'll Do

Business Development & Sales

  • Proactively reach out to builders, contractors, and industry contacts to generate new business
  • Build relationships through cold calls, job site visits, and networking
  • Develop and grow your own book of business over time
  • Meet with customers to understand their project needs and provide solutions

Project & Sales Support Work

  • Review building plans and perform material takeoffs (we will train you)
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for new construction projects
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly
  • Follow up consistently with customers throughout the sales process

  • Comfortable with cold calling and meeting new people
  • Able to build rapport quickly and communicate confidently
  • Strong attention to detail and good with numbers/math
  • Willing to sit down and focus on detailed work like plans and quotes
  • Curious, coachable, and eager to learn a new industry
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Experience (We're Flexible)

We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Sales (inside or outside)
  • Construction or building materials
  • Estimating, project coordination, or operations
  • Any role where you've had to build relationships and solve problems

If you've worked with building plans, estimating, or takeoffs, that's a plus — but not required.
