New Construction Electrician

Position Summary

Robertson is seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Service Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The technician will support residential, commercial, or industrial service operations while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to electrical codes and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in wiring, panels, lighting, motors, and control systems
• Install and maintain electrical equipment and components
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools
• Respond to service calls and customer concerns in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and local electrical codes
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical training or electrical certification preferred
• Previous experience as an electrical technician or electrician
• Knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair procedures
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift equipment and work in various environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Strong customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions
