Start Date: July 13, 2026

 

The RN New Graduate position provides direct nursing care including: assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients.  The RN New Graduate will provide care under the direction of a preceptor during orientation period.  Will perform patient duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care as well as coordinate the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines.

  • CVDOU

  • Emergency
  • Med/Surg Respiratory
  • Med/Surg Orthopedics
  • Transitional Care Unit


Required Skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills

  • Advanced knowledge of arrhythmias (Electrophysiology only)
  • Advanced knowledge of catheters, electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation procedures and ICD testing (Electrophysiology only)


Required Experience
  • Must have completed your nursing program within the last 12 months by the application date
  • Current California RN License
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association (All units)
  • Current ACLS from American Heart Association ((CVDOU, DOU, Emergency Room)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of employment (CVDOU, DOU, Emergency Room)
  • Violence Intervention & Prevention (VIP) certification within 3 months of employment (CVDOU, DOU, Emergency Room)
  • PALS from AHA (Emergency Room only) 
  • LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (All units)
