    Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers both complex and routine care for a range of specialties.

    Suburban Hospital is the first and only hospital in the county to receive the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program credential, which is the highest national honor for professional nursing practice and quality patient care

    Unit/Role Info:

    Adult Surgical Unit

    The New Grad Registered Nurse / RN I is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients; coordinating the medical plan provided by support service departments relating to the assigned patients; identifying and implementing nursing interventions and evaluates results; and demonstrating developing leadership qualities.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
    • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
    • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required)
    • CPR - Basic CPR Upon Hire (Required)
    • Prior work experience not required.

    Salary Range: Minimum 37.47/hour - Maximum 59.22/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
