The NHP Processing Associate supports the accurate and compliant onboarding of new PCA/Workers by reviewing and processing New Hire Packets (NHPs) received from the Document Review & Verification (DRV) Department and initiating E‑Verify once packets are cleared by DRV.
In this role, the Associate ensures that all required documentation is complete, all web‑based program checks and E-Verify checks are successfully verified, and all NHP and orientation data is entered with accuracy and within established service‑level agreements (SLAs). The Associate follows established procedures and program‑specific “Good to Go” rules to confirm hire eligibility, completes all activation steps, and supports efficient onboarding workflows. While the role includes processing required paperwork, supporting SDP‑related documentation, and validating system‑generated enrollment data, the current broad language is intentionally designed to encompass both present and future processes. By ensuring clean handoffs across internal teams, this position plays a key role in supporting a smooth, timely, and compliant onboarding experience.
Essential Job Functions
New Hire Packet (NHP) Processing
- Review and process New Hire Packets (NHPs) with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all required documentation is complete, properly validated, and aligned with program requirements.
- Perform advanced data entry and verification of NHP information within designated systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established workflows and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Eligibility and Compliance Validation
- Apply program-specific business rules to determine hire eligibility, establish hire dates, and confirm “Good to Go” status.
- Ensure completion of all required checks, including WEBS, OIG, CORI/SORI, and E‑Verify.
Worker Activation
- Execute all steps required to activate PCA/Workers, ensuring all prerequisites have been met.
- Troubleshoot issues that may delay activation or workflow completion.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to support clean handoffs, clarify documentation needs, and prevent rework or delays.
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for process questions, common issues, and system navigation, providing guidance to peers as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Documentation
- Assist with identifying process improvements, documentation updates, or workflow enhancements that support accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Performance & Other Duties
- Maintain consistent performance in alignment with departmental standards, policies, and timelines.

- Experience using databases, and electronic workflow systems with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and navigating digital platforms used for data entry and verification.
- Ability to identify process issues, suggest improvements, and support efficient workflow operations.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving processes and perform additional duties as needed.
