What defines a successful BOA Builders New Home Sales Consultant?

The most important deliverables for this position are:

Sales Driven

  • Monitor and meet sales goals
  • Generate leads, schedule appointments, and convert to customers
  • Prepare required paperwork and contracts for each home sale
  • Shop competition

Positive, Exceptional Customer Service

  • Meet with prospects, make presentations, and demonstrate the product
  • Explain contracts, lending principles, and the homeownership process
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, coordinating with internal teams and providing clear, timely updates throughout the homebuilding process

Design Center Management

  • Maintain all product information in the Design Center
  • Ensure pricing, displays, and selections are current
  • Maintain Design Center in clean and orderly fashion and ensure a higher-than-standard first impression
  • Assist clients in designing their home and update them on milestones throughout the construction process.

Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan outreach events, realtor engagement, and community events
  • Drive traffic and create a strong presence in our communities

What experience and skills are needed to be our New Home Sales Consultant?

  • Ability to operate effectively in a technology-driven environment
  • A stable work history that demonstrates progression and success
  • An entrepreneurial spirit willing to take charge of your own earnings
  • Coachable and willing to learn from a proven selling process that gets results
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to create long-term relationships
  • Experience in sales
  • Three to five years of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Must be able to work on site
  • Candidates who currently hold a real estate license may be considered; if hired, any license-related requirements would need to align with the structure and compliance requirements of this role.

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time, W-2 employment. On-Site
  • Pay Range: Typical earnings range from $50,000 to $200,000+ annually based on home sales volume. No base salary. Average consultants close 18-24 homes per year.
  • Schedule: Includes weekends and some holidays
  • Benefits include  PTO, 401(k), phone allowance, 12 paid holidays
