POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Senior Sales Operations Business Analyst to join the Qcells New Homes team, serving as the owner of sales operations infrastructure, Salesforce strategy, and business performance analytics across the organization. This role operates as a strategic partner to business development and senior leadership, driving revenue optimization, operational scalability, and data-driven decision-making. This position is responsible for end-to-end ownership of core sales operations processes, systems, and reporting frameworks, ensuring alignment across Sales, Finance, and Operations. The role requires a strong ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions, influence cross-functional priorities, and deliver measurable impact on revenue performance.
This position will be based in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with an in-office work schedule determined by the hiring manager and in alignment with company policy. Remote work may be considered in select cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Own the sales operations function for the New Homes business, including systems, processes, reporting, and performance management.
  • Serve as the strategic owner of Salesforce, defining roadmap, prioritization, and system enhancements in alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, and Operations to standardize processes and improve end-to-end business execution.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable operational frameworks, supporting revenue growth and organizational maturity.
  • Own pricing operations and governance, including workflow design, policy enforcement, and continuous optimization tied to revenue outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain core business KPIs, forecasting models, and performance tracking, ensuring leadership visibility into key drivers of success.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership, directly influencing strategy, planning, and investment decisions.
  • Act as a thought partner to Business Development leadership, supporting pipeline strategy, deal performance, and revenue optimization.
  • Identify and resolve systemic gaps in processes, data integrity, and reporting, driving continuous improvement across the business.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 8+ years of professional work experience, including 3-5 + years of work experience in renewable energy, residential solar, or new home construction. 
  • Proven track record of owning and scaling sales operations, business operations, or RevOps functions. 
  • Deep experience with Salesforce ownership, including roadmap development, system optimization, and process automation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional decision-making. 
  • Strong experience in building operational frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures that support business growth. 
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and business impact. 
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. 
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience leading Salesforce transformation or enterprise-level system enhancements.  
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills, including forecasting and scenario analysis.  
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.  
  • Background in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or Business Planning.  
  • Experience in residential solar, homebuilder, or developer ecosystems.  
  • Strong exposure to financial modeling, ROI analysis, and pricing strategy.  
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.  
  • Experience operating in a high-growth or scaling organization, driving process standardization and operational maturity.  
  • Certifications in data analytics, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
