New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is currently seeking an experienced Remote Medical Scheduler to work full-time Monday-Friday. Internally known as an New Patient Intake Coordinator, the successful candidate will support our New Patient Intake Team as the first voice that new patients of NECS have contact with. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for all new patient referrals which include scheduling and communicating with new patient consults for all NECS sites. The coordinator will acquire all necessary records before the new patient consult, manage and resolves appointment conflicts proactively, maintain confidentiality, and meets hard deadlines on scheduling. They will demonstrate superior customer service skills, and the ability to work as an effective collaborator. The Intake Coordinator is an integral part of the patient experience, they are the first contact for newly diagnosed patients and thus set the tone for their experience.
