The NPD Project Engineer is a key technical contributor within the New Product Development Engineering group, supporting the design and development of industrial generators. This role is well suited for an engineer who enjoys detailed, hands-on engineering work while developing the skills needed to influence system-level decisions and product strategy. The NPD Project Engineer will be working within highly cross-functional teams, you will engineer, analyze, and validate parts, assemblies, and systems that deliver meaningful value to customers. Your work directly supports high-quality, timely product launches that contribute to Rehlko's business success.

The Details
  • Executes engineering responsibilities and supports technical work for projects of moderate scope and complexity under general direction from the NPD Manager and Platform Leader
  • Operates with a moderate level of autonomy in day-to-day execution while developing technical decision-making capability
  • Documents and achieves product requirements, including customer needs, regulatory standards, and technical performance targets
  • Ensures functional acceptability through the application of engineering tools, analysis methods, and validation testing
  • Documents technical work and presents results to share knowledge within and beyond the department
  • Provides technical input and design direction to Engineering Analysts and CAD resources as appropriate
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline internal processes and support system and tool upgrades
