You will own the end-to-end launch readiness and production maturation of new hardware products — everything around the core engineering work that gets a product from "done engineering" to "successfully in market." You are the cross-functional glue between supply chain, operations, marketing, sales, customer support, IT, and finance, driving all workstreams to a coordinated launch and a stable production state.This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is based in our San Diego headquarters.As an NPI Manager you will have an opportunity to: Own the launch readiness program plan: milestones, dependencies, risk tracking, and readiness gates across all non-engineering workstreamsEnsure supply chain readiness — supplier qualification, lead time alignment, material availability, and capacity confirmation for rampPlan operations readiness — manufacturing ramp plans, part number setup, BOM governance, ERP/system configuration, and quality handoffCoordinate go-to-market execution: positioning, messaging alignment, launch timing, and market segmentation in partnership with Product and MarketingCoordinate sales enablement: training materials, battle cards, demo units, pricing inputs, and channel readinessEnsure customer support readiness — knowledge base, support tooling, returns/warranty processes, and escalation runbooksEnsure IT readiness — system integrations, SKU and catalog configuration in commerce/ERP platforms, tooling provisioning, and data flow validation end-to-endEnsure finance readiness — product costing sign-off, transfer pricing, revenue recognition setup, warranty reserve modeling, and budget alignment for launch spendManage the plan for website, catalog, and collateral updates; coordinate PR/communications timingRun cross-functional launch readiness reviews; surface and resolve blockers across workstreamsTrack post-launch KPIs and drive production maturation until the product reaches stable, predictable volumeYou have: 5+ years in NPI, product operations, or launch program management in a consumer or B2B hardware companyDemonstrated experience owning Program Management for GTM, supply chain readiness, and operations readiness simultaneously — not just tracking themComfort operating in the space between engineering and business: you can read a BOM, talk to a CM, and then walk into a marketing planning sessionStrong program management fundamentals: you build the plan, own the schedule, and drive accountability without authoritySharp communicator who can tailor updates for a factory ops team and a VP of Marketing in the same dayExperience with ERP systems (part number and BOM setup), CRM/sales tools, and launch coordination toolingYou might have: Experience in outdoor, sporting goods, or lifestyle hardware categoriesBackground coordinating international supply chains and contract manufacturersFamiliarity with channel sales (retail, e-commerce, distributor) launch requirements#J-18808-Ljbffr
