Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping projects start strong? We are seeking a full time New Starts Coordinator to support our growing residential electrical operations by managing the setup and coordination of new projects from contract to kickoff.
Position Overview
The New Starts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all new residential electrical projects are properly reviewed, documented, scheduled, and communicated so crews can begin work efficiently and accurately. This role is critical in setting projects up for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Review new job contracts, work orders, and builder requirements
- Coordinate project start dates with operations, scheduling, and field teams
- Verify permits, inspections, plans, and required documentation
- Enter and maintain accurate job information in company systems
- Serve as a point of contact between builders, internal teams, and vendors
- Track timelines and ensure all pre-start requirements are completed
- Identify and communicate potential issues before work begins
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, residential electrical, or project coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable working with scheduling software and spreadsheets
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solver with great attention to detail
