You’ll play an essential role in keeping the department running smoothly and ensuring customers leave with a smile.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide fast, friendly, and personalized service at the deli counter.
• Prepare, slice, and package meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service cases.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures.
• Offer samples, make product suggestions, and assist with special orders.
• Operate and maintain deli equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support department operations, including merchandising, labeling, and restocking.
• Build trustful relationships with customers and fellow team members.

What You Bring With You:

• Enjoys customer interaction and providing outstanding service.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technology.
• Experience in food handling, retail, or customer service preferred (but not required).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
