New York Attorney – Workers’ Compensation (Manhattan Office)

Lois Law Firm is seeking a New York-Barred Attorney to join our growing litigation practice, where you will defend some of America's most iconic employers in New York workers' compensation actions, out of our Manhattan, New York office. This role requires a willingness to stand up for your clients, to be an advocate, and to ensure a fair court process for all parties. You will have significant client contact and opportunities to present creative strategies in court.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified applicant is a New York-Barred Attorney with a passion for litigating and a desire to dominate a specialist niche.

• New York bar in good standing is required.
• Litigation and trial experience preferred.
• Successful candidates must be ambitious and driven, possess a strong work ethic and have good interpersonal skills.

CLEAR COMPENSATION

At LOIS all attorneys have a base salary with clear fixed bonuses in place. We set an annual billable budget based on your preferences, beginning at 1,852 per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions;
• Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters;
• Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations;
• Consistently apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals.
