Description

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced associate with outstanding credentials and qualifications to join the market-leading regulatory practice of our Investment Funds Group. Our funds regulatory practice offers a dynamic experience ranging from assisting fund sponsors with fundraising and transactions to navigating SEC examination and enforcement matters. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of investment funds-related regulatory experience at a global law firm, including: reviewing offering materials and fund governing documents; advising clients on compliance with applicable rules and regulations; preparing SEC filings; and responding to examinations. Strong familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 required; familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Act of 1933 preferred. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP offers a competitive salary structure as well as a robust offering of benefits to all of its employees and attorneys. Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant and/or employee and is aligned with internal pay equity within Kirkland & Ellis LLP itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $310,000. These figures are not representative of the full compensation range for this position.
