New York - Staff Attorney, Business Restructuring & Reorganization

Overview Jones Day is seeking a Staff Attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join our Business Restructuring and Reorganization practice group. This is a firmwide, non‑partner track position that plays a critical role in supporting the Firm's bankruptcy and restructuring representations across all offices.Responsibilities Coordinate, manage, and prepare required court disclosures in connection with bankruptcy matters, including the Firm's retention as counsel to debtors or official committees, and in special counsel engagements.Support legal research and writing initiatives, including practice‑focused publications addressing bankruptcy, restructuring, distressed mergers and acquisitions, and related issues.Assist with Chapter11 proceedings, out‑of‑court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions with a focus on company‑side engagements.Qualifications 4–6 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or distressed merger & acquisition work.Strong writing, organizational, and time‑management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Members in good standing of the Ohio Bar.Compensation Salary range: $180,000 – $220,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
