Assistant Warehouse Manager

How You Will Contribute
Market / Operational Execution
- Assist in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment, order picking, and shipping activities.
- Monitor order accuracy and inventory control processes to ensure product quality and minimize loss, breakage, and mis-picks.
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager to implement operational improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency, and service levels.
- Assist in managing warehouse equipment, maintenance schedules, and vendor service needs.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to monitor key performance indicators, including productivity, safety, and order accuracy.
- Step in for the Warehouse Manager when needed to ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Customer & Account Support
- Support timely and accurate order fulfillment to maintain customer service standards.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Procurement, and other operational teams to ensure seamless product flow and service execution.
- Help ensure inventory availability and warehouse performance support business and customer needs.
Team & Operational Support
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to warehouse employees while ensuring adherence to performance standards and safety policies.
- Coordinate labor scheduling, staffing, and overtime requirements in accordance with operational needs and applicable agreements.
- Participate in onboarding and ongoing employee training and development initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for workforce concerns, escalating issues to leadership and Human Resources when appropriate.
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports through regular communication, feedback, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet operational deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Physical & Schedule Expectations
- Warehouse environment with exposure to forklifts, palletized inventory, and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse floor activities for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including cooler, ambient, and outdoor environments.
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is required.

The typical total compensation range for this role is $70,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and organizational scope. Actual compensation will vary based on skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package and may qualify for discretionary bonus opportunities.
