    Description

    Position Summary:

    The Project Coordinator will be a motivated team player and a productive self-starter who will work directly with Lead Engineers to coordinate and manage logistics for Field Engineers, Support Staff, and tower crews conducting RF drive tests. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills as the candidate will engage with customers, property managers, and leadership to help deliver projects efficiently and on schedule. The position requires 100% travel within the U.S.

    • Assist lead engineer to manage field teams conducting radio frequency drive tests
    • Follow and promote safety protocols at all times
    • Requires 100% travel in various customer markets for the length of the project
    • Follow company and department standards for expense reporting by submitting receipts daily and maintaining timely correspondence with NetScouts expense department
    • Learn and understand drive test procedures and practices
    • Follow client access instructions to visit client sites and contact property management as required to negotiate and secure site access in advance for field teams
    • Follow the market scouting schedule as planned with the lead engineer and submit accurate and timely scout reports
    • Manage schedule for data collection teams by collaborating with Lead Engineer to create and monitor daily and long-term activities testing, travel, time off
    • Use online scheduling and reporting tool to communicate with the field teams and calibration support team
    • Travel coordination: Book hotels, flights, and rental cars for field engineers & support staff
    • Asset coordination: locating, renting, and arranging transportation of scissor lifts and other test assets through equipment rental and towing companies.
    • Be proactive in problem solving and contingency planning
    • As part of field team leadership, promote good team relations and positive work environment
    • When needed, assist field engineer with RF Field Support staff duties driving, vehicle/equipment monitoring, equipment setup, etc.
