A day in the life
You start by reviewing scheduled inspections, then head onsite to verify valves, test flows, and document performance. If a deficiency appears, you troubleshoot, repair, and retest. You wrap up by updating clear records for clients and coordinating with teammates to keep timelines on track.
What you’ll handle
- Install, service, and repair automatic fire sprinkler systems in line with local codes and applicable NFPA standards.
- Perform routine and acceptance inspections, testing, and verifications to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose issues in existing systems and complete corrective actions efficiently.
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service while addressing client questions and concerns.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Stay current with evolving industry standards, NFPA updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with team members to meet schedules and complete projects on time.
What you bring
- Valid Fire Sprinkler Technician license.
- Hands-on experience installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
- Solid knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
