As our neonatal services expand, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to support our high-acuity NICU population.

Job Details
Provide specialized clinical pharmacy services for critically ill neonatal patients within the NICU
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
Serve as a clinical expert, educator, mentor, and preceptor for pharmacy staff, residents, and students
Participate in clinical research, medication utilization programs, quality improvement initiatives, and cost-containment efforts
Work a day-shift schedule consisting of five 8-hour shifts with an on-call rotation approximately every 8 to 9 weeks
Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
Completion of a PGY2 Residency in Pediatrics preferred; PGY2 Critical Care candidates with current NICU experience may be considered
Dedicated NICU clinical pharmacy experience, including direct care of critically ill neonates
Active Texas Pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment
