What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care for infants from 22 weeks gestation and above, focusing on respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and infectious disease management.
• Administer medications using Pyxis medication system, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids.
• Document care activities accurately in the EPIC system.
• Communicate effectively with team members and families using SBAR methods.
• Perform and manage special procedures such as arterial lines, central line care, and neonatal abstinence syndrome interventions.
• Oversee ventilator settings and adjustments, including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, NP, pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory, and social services.

What You Need

• Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
• Experience in Level III and IV NICU settings.
• Proficiency in cardiovascular dysrhythmia management, gastrointestinal feeding, and IV therapy, including umbilical lines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
