What Youll Do
Provide specialized neonatal care for infants from 22 weeks gestation and above, focusing on respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and infectious disease management.
Administer medications using Pyxis medication system, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids.
Document care activities accurately in the EPIC system.
Communicate effectively with team members and families using SBAR methods.
Perform and manage special procedures such as arterial lines, central line care, and neonatal abstinence syndrome interventions.
Oversee ventilator settings and adjustments, including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, NP, pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory, and social services.
What You Need
Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
Experience in Level III and IV NICU settings.
Proficiency in cardiovascular dysrhythmia management, gastrointestinal feeding, and IV therapy, including umbilical lines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
