• Licenses/Certifications: BLS & NRP required
• Experience: 3+ years NICU experience, Epic experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Attend deliveries (vaginal and C-section) and assist with newborn transition
• Admit and discharge neonates to/from NICU and Neonatal Observation Unit (NOU)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including NNP, MD, RN, social services, RT, radiology, OT, and others
• Educate and update parents, assist with breastfeeding support
• Manage IV placements, Lab draws, and medication administration for neonates
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertion, PICC/UAC/UVC placement, and assist with diagnostic imaging
• Provide ventilator care, blood product administration, and monitor neonate status

What You Need
Required:

• Valid nursing license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• 3+ years neonatal ICU experience in Level III NICU
• BLS & NRP certifications
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Preferred:

• Experience with ventilators, central lines, and neonatal procedures
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
