What Youll Do:
- Attend deliveries (vaginal and cesarean section), assist with newborn transition
- Admit and discharge neonates to NICU and nursery units
- Manage placement of IVs, blood draws, and medication administration for neonates
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube, PICC, UAC, UVC placements, intubation, and radiology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and educate parents
- Support breastfeeding efforts and provide compassionate patient care
What You Need:
- Valid Louisiana RN license or applicable state license with eligibility for multi-state licensure
- Minimum 3 years NICU experience, including management of ventilators and central lines
- Must have BLS & NRP certifications
- Strong skills in IV placement, lab draws, patient education, and neonatal procedures
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients and complex procedures preferred
