Join Our Team as a NICU Registered Nurse – Make a Life-Saving Difference!

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to our most vulnerable newborns. Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience, with strong proficiency in level III NICU procedures
  • Certification in BLS and NRP
  • Experience with delivery attendance, including vaginal and C-section births
  • Skilled in IV placement in neonates, drawing labs, medication administration (IV, IM, SQ, ETT, OGT, NGT), and blood transfusions
  • Familiarity with ventilator management and central line care
  • Ability to assist with specialized procedures such as PICC, UAC/UVC placements, intubation, chest tubes, ultrasounds, and non-invasive respiratory therapies
  • Compassionate with excellent customer service, communication, and parent education skills
  • Capable of managing complex neonatal cases, including ventilators and medication administration

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with ultrasound, echocardiograms, EEGs, nitric oxide therapy, exchange transfusions
  • Experience floating within different neonatal units (NOU, newborn nursery)
  • Strong knowledge of Epic electronic health record system
  • Flexibility to work self-scheduled shifts and participate in holiday rotations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 years of NICU clinical experience in a high-acuity setting
  • Prior exposure to delivery attendance and neonatal procedures

Other Requirements:
  • Willing to participate in floating assignments to NOU or newborn nursery as needed
  • Ability to work every other weekend, at least one major and one minor holiday
  • Day shift hours: 3x12-hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
  • Must maintain current certifications and be committed to ongoing professional development
