What Youll Do
- Attend deliveries (vaginal and C-section) and assist with newborn transition
- Admit neonates to NICU and NOU, discharge neonates, and update parents
- Manage neonatal care including IV placements, lab draws, and medication administration
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team (MD, RN, NNP, social services, RT, radiology, OT)
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions, PICC, UAC/UVC placements, x-rays, ultrasounds, intubations, and blood transfusions
- Support breastfeeding and educate families throughout the stay
- Float to neonatal nursery and NOU units as needed
What You Need
- Valid RN license and current BLS & NRP certifications
- Minimum of 3 years neonatal ICU experience, management of vents and central lines
- Proficient in IV placement, lab draws, medication administration, and advanced neonatal procedures
- Skilled in compassionate patient care, teammate collaboration, and effective communication
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
