The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing overnight front office operations, ensuring accurate completion of daily financial audits, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for all guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guest Services — Provide professional check‑in/check‑out support and respond to guest inquiries
- Nightly Financial Audit — Reconcile daily transactions, prepare audit reports, and verify system balances
- Property Security — Monitor hotel safety, conduct routine walkthroughs, and address overnight concerns
- Front Desk Operations — Manage reservations, process payments, and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Strong Customer Service Skills — Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Computer Proficiency — Comfortable using hotel management systems and completing financial tasks
- Attention to Detail — Ensures accuracy in reporting and guest information
Schedule
- Overnight shifts (typically 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) and at least one second shift per week (typically 3:00 PM - 11:00 pm)
- Weekends and holidays required
- Training schedule will consist of all 3 shifts over a 3 to 4 week period.
The Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro Hotel is located in Middlesboro's blend of historic woodlands, and mountain views. We are located close to Pine Mountain State Park and Cumberland Gap National Park. We are also close to the historic Cumberland Gap, the trail that was used by Daniel Boone, features hiking trails, crafts and Southern Hospitality.
