Night Auditor

About the Role:
V2 Capital Shelton LLC Hotel Group is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our team in Shelton, CT. Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly audit of hotel financial transactions, including room charges, tax postings, and daily revenue reconciliation
• Balance and verify front desk accounts, cash drawers, and point-of-sale systems
• Greet and assist overnight guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports for management review
• Monitor hotel security and safety during overnight hours, escalating issues as needed
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure smooth shift transitions

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hotel front desk, night audit, or hospitality operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) a plus
• Ability to work independently overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Basic math and accounting knowledge required
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
