Night Cashier Part-Time

Westfield Ford, Inc is seeking a reliable and friendly Night Cashier to join our team in Countryside, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As a key point of contact for our customers, your professionalism and attentiveness will help create a positive experience for everyone who visits our dealership. This will be 15-20 hours per week. This job will be afternoon, evening, and Saturday mornings. The specific days are Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30PM to 8:00PM. Saturday hours are 7:30AM to 12:30PM and there is a possibility during vacations or when other employees are on leave to work more hours. We will also have additional hours available on needed basis for filing documents.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale system
• Handle cash, credit, and check payments with integrity and attention to detail
• Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues promptly
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security
• Answer phone calls and set appointments for service department
• Filing of Accounting documents on a needed basis weekly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
