Salary Range: $20.00 -$21.00 hourly, DOE.

Schedule: 2nd shift, evening shifty starting at 6:30pm-1:30am.

Location: This position based onsite at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, CA

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented on call (as needed) backup Cleaner to join our team. The on-call Cleaner will be a backup staff position for the night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and will provide coverage when janitorial staff members are absent or on vacation. The on-call night cleaner will be responsible for covering the nightly janitorial services to one of our commercial buildings as needed and shifts may very. The on-call night Cleaner, under the direction of the nightly Janitorial Supervisor, is responsible for performing nightly janitorial duties for buildings and related areas. Quality customer service skills are required. Prior experience or knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential as this position requires you to work independently most of the time.

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:

• General cleaning of the offices, training rooms, restrooms and kitchens in the building.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Dust
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Perform other work-related duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Handle general cleaning, and other janitorial work.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Frequent carrying, pushing and pulling of tools and equipment.
• Physical and Sensory Requirements (With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices).
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
• Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
