What you will be doing:
This position is Night shift - 7 Days on/ 7 Days offCreate and maintain dispatch to meet customer demand and contract needs by efficiently utilizing equipment and available personnel. Monitor real-time conditions and customers' needs through constant communication with customer personnel and Ops. Manager and data observed from the trucks' on-board data collection devicesBuild a strong rapport with drivers and communicate with them such that their objective is knownFulfill other duties assigned by Ops. Manager to meet necessary business objectives and contractual obligationsCoordinate pickup and delivery schedules with oil companies, truck drivers, and the refineryCheck the driver's completion of paperwork, as well as accurately record the data into the designated information systemAnticipate the needs of those you support and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and minimal directionCommit to safe work practices through situational awareness, following standard operating procedures, receiving feedback, and watching out for the health and wellness of othersMaintain and disseminate required reports to management and customerVerify accuracy on all reports by validating daily/weekly for invoices and payroll.
What you need to be successful:
Experience in a fast-paced, data management, customer service environment, is preferredHigh school Diploma or GED equivalentUinta Basin Oilfield dispatch experience preferredProficient Excel skills with an ability to create and manipulate intermediate-level functionsAble to maintain good relationships with customers and coworkersProblem-solving and can think outside of the box, and can grasp the big picture in a chain of eventsPositive attitude; treats others with fairness and respect - expects the same in returnIs honest in dealings with the company, team members, and customers
