Night Manager - Janitorial Services

Overview:

The Night Manager will oversee janitorial operations and employees across a high-volume facility, ensuring the team consistently delivers clean, safe, and well-maintained spaces. This position will manage up to 20 employees and support both routine janitorial services and event-related cleaning needs.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of up to 20 janitorial employees.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure assigned areas meet quality standards.
• Coordinate staffing, assignments, breaks, and daily work schedules.
• Support cleaning and setup needs associated with events.
• Conduct inspections and address quality or performance issues.
• Train, coach, and provide direction to team members.
• Monitor attendance and communicate staffing concerns to leadership.
• Maintain adequate supplies and equipment for daily operations.
• Partner with site leadership to address operational needs.
• Respond to event-related cleaning requirements, including pre-event, during-event, and post-event services.
• Perform basic janitorial duties as needed to support the team and operation.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous janitorial or facilities services experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience managing a team of 10+ employees preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
• Must have flexibility with shift availability and be willing to adjust the schedule as needed to support operational and event requirements.
• Must be able to perform basic janitorial duties when needed.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.
