Caregiver / CNA – Long-Term Care

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver, with CNA certification preferred, to join our team at Legends providing long-term care and support for adults with behavioral needs.

The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to providing respectful, person-centered care while helping residents maintain the highest possible quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Support residents with daily routines and encourage independence when appropriate

• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or behavioral condition

• Assist with meals, medication reminders as permitted, and other daily needs

• Maintain a safe, clean, supportive, and structured environment

• Build positive, professional relationships with residents while maintaining appropriate boundaries

• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• Follow all facility policies, care plans, safety procedures, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred, but qualified and experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply

• Experience working with adults with behavioral, mental health, developmental, or other specialized care needs is preferred

• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of providing direct care

• Background check and other required pre-employment screenings
